Supe
Hi, I've got an 02 Ford Fiesta which has a slight misfire, ran out of Tax and Mot. We've bought a new car so have no use for it, was just wondering where to get some good money for it How and where do you weigh in a car? Would I get more from scrap metal merchants (if they even do that sort of thing?) than the local scrappies? I've been offered £150-£180 from three different breakers, does that seem about right? ilicos
Is the only probem the missfire?
Supe
Is the only probem the missfire? Yes and No , it was running fine before I parked it up (3 weeks ago). Will probably need the rear wheel bearings (got these in the boot), front discs and exhaust (mid-pipe) done. I would guess around £150 plus MOT and Tax to put it back on the road... Josh
If you fix those problems I assume you'd get a decent bit more if you sold it.
Stephendjb
Stick it on ebay, the scrap yards are bidding against each other I just got £255 for my 156 & it got collected & went straight to be scrapped.
