Daytime lights Wiring

Recommended Posts

Having issues with my daytime driver side light, striped out the loom and tested it against a 10v source

Some corrosion on the the wire is causing an issue with the current getting through.

I replaced the wire with

Core Size (mm): 0.75

Brand: Tower

Colour: Black

Amps: 6

Volts: 240

It worked fine so I put it all back together, after a drive gone again.

Is this wire ok to use

The wire will be fine, have you checked fuses?

The passengers is working fine, I presume fuse should be OK?

The Wire is well insulated, I didnt replace the whole loom becasue it is very well soldered in from Toyota to the plugs; 80% was replaced (the corroded part causing the issue , up to the plug ends I could cut into)
