huge list of mods, so here goes.

 

Body:

4 1/2 inch raked roof chop

lowered doors and 1/4 panels to cover heater channels

smoothed front inner wheelarches

extended / lenghtened bonnet

detachable mud gaurds all round so as to keep him legal.

raised metal flame design on bonnet that always draws attention

all body work 100% solid no rust or rot at all.

All the glass is proper laminated glass, cut down to fit, including the opening 1/4lites on the doors. (find another roof chop bug that has them.) the rear screen is lexan. and all the rubbers where new too.

 

Paint:

BMW Mini royal grey, with mitsubushi flame red inserts on the bonnet. was fresh 3 years ago but does have a couple of dings and scratches now, but nothing to write home about.

 

Chassis:

old chassis was fully stripped and painted

new floor pans

was built with all new parts, every brake hose,pipe,cylinder and drum was new.as were the bushes and bearings and gearbox mounts.

Bay Area Rods frame extender, modified to convert from ball joint chassis to the much cooler and better king and link pin beam.

Quad headlites up front are Harly Davison custom lites. the top pair are the head lites and the lower pair are the indicators.

rear lites are repro early ford duo lamps.

 

interior:

sparce and simple,

morris minor dash re worked and graffted in

early bug seats, drivers one cut down to fit.

inertia reel seat belts.

 

Engine:simple and stock

a new 1600 twin port was fitted last year,

flame design from bonnet carrys through onto tinware

also fitted with custom made quad stinger exhausts, hand made in stainless steel (thanks Mike)

 

Transmission:

Last year a GT box was found and fitted so it now sits happily at motorway speeds all day long.

cheers guys, i didnt think anyone would like it on here.. (4 positive comments out of 120 views i wasn't far wrong, lol)

 

Its arriving 9th july, and will get some better pics up then.

 

Its a work in progress, interior, and a few tweeks here and there to get it finished.. but really looking forward to it..

 

just fancied something different and it certainly is that.. Still keeping the supra for "sensible" use, this will be my project/show car!
