JohnA
..."A sri lankan refugee who fled the uk after causing the death of a pregnant teacher and her unborn baby was jailed yesterday for less than 3 years. 2 years 3 months for the accident and 6 months for perverting the course of justice..... Is this a good example though? These are PC times...
dangerous brain
The guy in the sx was 21 FFS surely he had more maturity to rise above it IMO he was more concerned what his mates might say if he "lost" to a Fiesta If you can believe it the 200 driver was behind the fiesta when it piled in so losing to a mental fiesta driver didn't seem to bother him much. Sounds to me like the 200 driver rightly bottled it and left nut job get on with killing himself.
Jake
Is this a good example though? I'm not sure it's a comparable case but it certainly is a bizzare accident. Apparently the Sri Lankan guy clipped someone's wing mirror while overtaking and another car, not the one he clipped, then lost control and crashed into the pregnant woman's car, killing her. As the Fiesta wasn't visable from the road then he must ave been "close enough" to see him lose it
dangerous brain
But he didn't back off did he? As the Fiesta wasn't visable from the road then he must ave been "close enough" to see him lose it the key is that he was behind him. They set off at the same time the 200 would easily make a fiesta a spec in the rear view mirror if he wanted to. You can see a car go off a straight road for approx a mile with lights on. Ian R
It depends on the road though there are many roads in my local area that I could quite easily stay in front of a BPU++ Supra in a 1.1 Fiesta the car left the road at a corner assuming he took the corner wrong my guess would be he missed the apex so the sx would have had to have been pretty close to see him leave the road.
