Markie
Hi all, Just wanted to know if I really need a VALCON Plus VCAM kit to control the VVT-i system if I use the GReddy E-Manage Ultimate package linked into the stock ECU. I know I would of needed it when my plan was to go for the AEM standalone, but at the moment thats a more future plan. So, could anyone tell me if its needed first off, and the pro's and con's of having it with the GReddy system anyway? Hope this makes sense to someone, as it does'nt to me
JustGav
No, I wouldn't have thought so, since you are still keeping the stock ecu, you will use the stock VVTi map and the emanage ultimate will just piggyback and fudge the fueling/ignition systems Gav
Alex
Erm you know the AEM won't connect directly to a VVTi. You'd have to seriously mangle the wiring loom. Valcon is only needed over 600BHP.
