Jeeez, i so hope they catch the hit and run driver who just killed the little six year old.........How can anybody not stop after hitting someone..............let alone a child..........unbelievable.

What??? Is this on the news? If it's in a built up area and the guy/girl owns the car no doubt they will be caught! Horrendous!! People nowadays just can't except the repercussions of their actions! :(

Sounds a bit like the Iraqi bloke that killed a little girl and left her under the back wheel of his car. He was a failed asylum seeker but they couldn't send him back because it breached his human rights! And surprise, surprise once he'd served his 3 month sentence he was caught driving again!

Treat 'em like they'd be treated in their own countries. Cut off their limbs until they learn.

Or just go for the beheading from the off..

Err

The man is thought to be white, in his early 20s and was driving a light blue or grey hatchback.

I read this in the paper on Sunday I think. What makes this situation so much worse is the driver had the chance to save the lad. Thankfully this sort of scenario is usually delt with much more harshly than an accidental death.

It will never be enough though.

I know he was. I just wondered why the origins of the driver were brought up.

I guess we are reading it differently, I didn't read it as implying the driver was from anywhere in particular. The reference was to describe the previous incident.

Eg.. Reminds me of the dog who ran over the cat. It wouldn't imply that the current offender was a dog, merely that one of the stand out recolations of the previous story was that the offender was a dog.

Am I the only one wondering where the parents were, and why a young child wasn't being supervised near the road?

Apparently they were playing in the woods that back onto the road. The boy that was killed decided he was hungry and wanted to go home early so therefore tried to cross the road. I personally wouldn't have allowed my child to play near that road, it's very busy, very hard to see over the brow of the hill on that particular side and with no clear crossing markers.

I suspect we are. Considering that the immediate response to the post was to refer to law in another country about stringing the guy up - clearly it wasn't just me that read it that way.

I certainly did.

I believe you implied that you couldnt be an asylum seeker if you were white ;)

Stop trolling
