"Why do stupid bikers always have to weave and ride between cars? Don't they understand this is dangerous? I taught one a good lesson today while driving up a backroad off the five. I was driving at a fast pace enjoying my ultimate driving machine. Soon, some jackoff on a sportbike comes riding up close to me. This is when I downshifted waiting for him to try and pass me. As soon as he pulled to my left to try and pass me, I gave him a nice swerve and ran him off the road into the other side. He's ok, all I saw was a huge dust cloud. I hope he and other learn there lessons. He's lucky he didn't go head on with another oncoming car, stupid bastard.

Everyone have a good 4th!"

Some @r5ehole in a VX220 did that to my girlfriend a few weeks back, except by accident and tey did actually collide. Luckiy she's been a biker since her teens and she managed to keep bike under control - even if it did force her onto the opposite verge. She's ended up with a sore foot and a bruised hand where she took his wingmirror off as they collided.

I think he plain didn't see her. She had been following him for a while and reckons he was driving like a tw@t the whole time.

Gotta admit, there are a certain number of bikers that quite frankly take the pi$$ over taking in stupid places where there's no room in front of you to slot in, then whacking loads of stones up on your bonnet etc.

There was one the other day when I left work, the tw@t was swerving in and out of traffic then undertook me as I was pottering down the dual carriage way (and no, I wasn't sitting in the outside lane, there was barely room for him to do it). He then pulled out in front of me :swear: (I could read his chassis number he was that close how he pulled out).

There was no way I was putting up with this so he was followed closely up until about 130 when he decided to pull over and let me past!

Quite frankly half the bikers around here deserve to loose a limb the way they drive. :hide:

I've had people in the past, swerving and going out of their way to hit me (while on a bike), just because they think they'll get away with it.

Fortunately experience helps you identify these tits from a mile away, so steer clear from their side and keep a safe distance from them.

What that american cretin was admitting was attempted murder. Maybe it was a windup, maybe not.

Do you remember how 'Easy Rider' ends?

Land of The Free and all that...

Don't get me wrong, there are suicidal bikers out there, but there is a difference between trying to kill them on purpose, and letting them maim themselves.

One is an antisocial and criminal act, the other is a priviledge of a free society. Think of alcohol drinking and smoking.

:(

Seriously disappointed and shocked by Pete's attitude towards bikers.

Me too, his closing comment was way O.T.T . Sure there are some reckless bikers out there but they usually teach themselfs a lesson pretty quickley and wisen up. Evey time I'm out on the roads on my bike I see so many examples of truely appalling driving more often than not caused by people just not concentrating (fannying around with phones, steroes, applying make up, unwrapping food whatever), the one that really annoys me is when there's kids in the car not seated properly with a belt on, I shudder to think what would happen to them in an accident, so irrisponsible.

I dont mind Bikers usually (as I have a lot of Biker friends) its just some get way over confident and do dangerous things because they think they can get away with it, not many actually look in their mirrors at all as they usually think they're the quickest things in the world. This was very evident at the Nurburgring.

Anytime I see a bike in my rear view mirror no matter what car I'm driving I pull as far out of the way as I possibly can. I so much prefer to see a bike in front of me where I can keep tabs on it than behind me where I might lose sight of it.

:yeahthat: :trust:

LOL - I think you're right sometimes...

I think I was in a bad mood this morning so apologies if I offended anyone. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you lot!

Bikers as a whole I don't have a problem with. It's just these guys with their mad racing bikes that go like a bat out of hell then complain when a car doesn't see them.

That one instance just really annoyed me as he thought he owned the road...... (damn fool should know it's MY road) ;)

Maybe I embelished the story a little too, he was a good 5/6 cars ahead of me at the higher speed (in the NA) and no other traffic around...wasn't as bad as I portraid it.

I think my dislike of bikes came about from the only time I've been on one. My boss took me out on his Honda Blackbird. 180mph - I felt helpless, out of control and very very mortal.

Yeah, I know that feeling mate. It's very scary being a high speed passenger on a bike. Never again.

:shudder:
