wesmi01
Jusy had the Supra down the work shop. 1. I now need a ERL water injection sensor. 2. Disks and pads all round. 3. Some rubber bushes at the back which seem to allow this clunking sound presently. If anyone has any ideas where to get these bits it would be of great help, prices etc!!!! It's a L plate jap sepc. Paul Whiffin
Hi, 1. ERL might be your best bet! 2. Discs and pads I can do, depends which type your after though, all the ones I do are on my web site http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/suprabrakes.htm 3. Most of the rubber bushes aren't available seperately I believe, I'm pretty sure I enquired about this before and they come with the suspension arms which aren't cheap funnily enough. Paul Whiffin
What have you got? Jap or UK disc set up? Best off getting std discs with uprated pads, which pads depend if your going to do any track days or not?
Alex
I think powerflex or Whiteline are your best best for suspension bushes. They are uprated poly bushes...much better for car control.
wesmi01
Cheers alex!!! There jap spec brakes, with hard road use really!!! Need back's and fronts!!!
wesmi01
Braking from massive speeds, not really into racing around the twisty bits!!!
Alex
If you're breaking from high speed...you need to equip your car with UK brakes... You need bigger discs and calipers. Breaking from High speed needs similar qualities to track work. Though IMO you want good initial bite. Which is something CW's pads are rated for. Many have good results with Porterfields from Paul. Paul Whiffin
If you got for Porterfield R4 race pad you wont get any fade at all ever, they warm up quick as well, only problem being dust and sometimes squeal which normally happens when the copper slip wears off, if you keep reapplying it every now and again it will be ok though. Obviously a big brake upgrade will be better all round but if you can't afford it these will be a help. Also decent fluid and braided brake lines help a bit...If you can stretch to a brake conversion get yourself a KAD kit and you will no longer have any worries about your brakes, just total confidence in them. Paul Whiffin
I dont sell std discs unfortunately, I'd personally fit genuine Toyota discs if you can, your Toyota dealer should be able to supply them to you without problems.

I can supply standard discs, also i do my own range of pads, as well as stock OE pads. I can help with Aquamist spares, too. Phone me, I won't be able to access e-mail much next week, I am away a lot.
