JS2004
Shot in the dark here, anyone got first hand experience of med-school in Malta, or looked into it previously. I am hearing things that sound too good to be true, for example no course fees for EU members and low costs of living. Just wondering if anyone else has ever looked into it and has some information. From the university websites it does look like all they want is a registration fee of 400 Euros per year - makes it a damn sight cheaper than trying to go in the UK. As with most things if it seems too good to be true there's usually a catch, which is what i'm trying to identify..
sdistc
First question that springs to mind for me is "what quality of education are you getting?" While I'm sure that Maltese medicos are quite competent, you don't immediately think of Malta if you think Bluechip educational facilities. imi
Not sure about their med school however Malta is a lovely country, friendly, educated and civilised, far more than the chavs that we see in the UK. its a great lifestyle.
