OBDI or II?

The VVTi is an OBD2 but it uses a Japanese protcol so the normal OBD2 readers wont work.

 

Not sure about the UK, I assume they are OBD1 as the early US cars are.

What's the point in using an international socket standard, only to have different protocols..

Dont ask me bud, possibly because the car was JDM only
