spiderpigcity
2JZ GTE t67 I have an oil leak on my engine and can't find it at all. I go for a run maybe a days driving, when i get back i have light oil drips on my oil cooler pipe and powersteering pipe that runs across the front of the sump under the crank pulley. It also sprays over the sump and rear of the front subframe. I jetwash it all clean and then i put the car up on stands, start the engine get underneath and cannot see any oil dripping or weeping from anywhere, especially not the front crank seal. I am wondering whether this is the cranks seal leaking as revs increase when i drive it. I am using 5/30 synthetic, but i cant see that making too much difference. Any ideas, The timing belt is dry as a bone and the rocker cover gaskets are dry.
Nic
Are you sure it's engine oil? Is the engine oil level going down? Thinking it could be power steering fluid, check the PAS pump, pipes and steering rack ends - check if there is oil inside the rubber gaiters.
