If they are front did they retract quickly? I am after a good drivers side

Chris Wilson
You'll have to be very careful on the brakes, those skinny things up front will lock up pretty darned easily.
Kevin Huntley
Thats Strange my Seibon hatch was a perfect fit and Im a fussy B*stard too.... I think it is hit and Miss with Seibon, some of there bonnets used to be awefull... Gutted about this tailgate i supplied to them, i expected better from Seibon, so glad i never went with Seibon doors now, the Knightracer doors are a perfect fit, if the tailgate is anything to go by Seibon would have been a bad choice on the doors. Just talking with knightracer and Albert is going to make a lightweight tailgate, same way he did my doors, exact mould of my stock hatch, he said he should be able to knock them out for £350-400 which is a great price if they fit like the doors, looking forward to getting that on the car instead of this rubbish. Gaps on this seibon hatch are huge, also it sits to high when shut and the fit round the middle brake light is shocking, dont buy Seibon is my advice, i made the mistake of sending it to paint before we test fitted it thinking it would be a good fit, i would have sent it back if i hadnt painted it:( http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/jamie450x/9e6b5aa7.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/jamie450x/597d6515.jpg

Be fine at the drag strip, you dont have to brake hard for the first exit let alone the second exit.
Kevin Huntley
Think your Lexan must have been better than mine then. You could actually see mine Balloon out and rattle around 40mph. I have one on my 350z and that does the same, so have to use the aircon on the motorways instead. One good thing, after Kev scaring the life out of me that the lexan would pop out at anything more than 30mph i can report its fine, not that i would tear down the wendover bypass at 150 with the windows open to test it
JamieP
Lexan seems fine tbh, vibrates a bit at speed, not noticed it ballon at all but it does scatch easy, i can already see small marks in it from washing it a couple of times, i will go back to glass if it starts to look shabby. Get some nano sealant on it or some very hardwearing wax mate should just be able to rinse it clean then.
JamieP
Not the best day for mapping, it's roasting hot down here. Ryan is just doing some wiring and will be bolting it on the dyno in an hour or so. Fastisnice is bringing his car for mapping today an all, be interesting, similar turbo to mine I think, gt42x. Chris Wilson
You can make your own screens, my Skoda special saloon race car had an optically perfect home formed front screen, the car came with the mould to make spares. The quality of the mould = the quality of the finished screen. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/78178-lexan-targa-top-project.html shows how someone home made a targa top for a Porsche 911.
