stevie_b
Does anyone on here use an independent policy for providing motor legal protection? I've only managed to find one supplier: http://www.autolaw.co.uk/ If you have more than 1 car it sounds like a good deal. £24.50 covers all your cars (and more besides), and this is comparable to what insurers charge for legal cover on a single policy. Due to the litigious and compensation-seeking nature of the British public, I wouldn't want to be without some kind of legal cover. Having legal cover that's independent from your insurer feels like a good idea, but I'm interested in other people's viewpoints. A quick internet search revealed these links. The 2nd one is amusing but not that useful to me. http://www.car4play.com/forum/post/index.htm?t=2042 http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/witty-response-needed_topic25398.html Edited June 16, 2011 by stevie_b (see edit history)
stevie_b
Bump. Any opinions on these sorts of independent legal policies? Anyone on here use them? Anyone considered them but decided not to? It sounds good in principle but I've heard mixed opinions about them.
