Wez
Did you trim the ears off yourself?
Guigsy
Nope car.mad.stylings on ebay sell them with and without the ears iirc. If he doesn't have any already made up he will do one for you. But it takes a week or so. He had to do that with mine. Mention the club and you might get a discout I'm definitely going to give the area arround the holes another go. Might get some spray adhesive aswell just to be sure!
Paul
I'm definitely going to give the area arround the holes another go. Might get some spray adhesive aswell just to be sure! See my post above ref. WP3000 primer. This is what this is designed for, to help with tight curves etc. the other option would be spray contact adhesive but you've got to watch it doesn't grab too quick if it's contact adhesive and doesn't allow enough time to stretch and mould the vinyl. Guigsy
I've got some 3M spay on craft adhesive. There was display mount stuff and a few other kinds. But the craft one was the stickiest without being too fast setting so should allow me to move it about a bit before it dries. Just hope it's sticky enough. But it managed to stick my fingers well enough when I sneaking tested it in the shop
monsween
Are you going to lacquer on top of it to give it the shiny look? I'm not sure if it would work on the material tho
Guigsy
I did try with a test strip but it actualy made it look worse. The cf look actualy comes from the texture of the vinyl and the way the light bounces off it. So filling the texture with clear coat seems to dull the effect.
