Alarm clocks...

Finally got fed up with my dodgy alarm clock and its brilliant design of having the Time Zone selector next to the Alarm On/Off switch...

Looking of getting myself a new alarm clock and I'm overwhelmed by choices...there are ones which wakes you up gentle via a light, ones that project onto ceilings etc... currently this one takes my fancy : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemNext&item=250832825023&autorefresh=true

I think it's really cool as it connects to the internet and updates the time and weather info too :D Just wondering what everyone's alarm clock looks like or any you can recommend ;)

I've never understood all the gadgetry involving alarm clocks. It's just an alarm lol. Seems most are more like toys than alarms.

Mine looks something like this...

Had it 7 years and it works a treat.

I use a combination of my iPhone & Blackberry.

I set the iPhone on a soft tone & then the Blackberry on a harsher one 15 mins later.

This way I check my emails before I get into work & don't wake up with a heart attack like my old alarm clock :D

Hehe well my alarm clock is the one responsible getting me up every morning (I can be a heavy sleeper :p) so it's pretty important. The one I have now (acctim) has a nice snooze function but that's about it. It has a selector that is able to select 3 different timezones (GMT, GMT+1 and GMT+2) that is located right next to the Alarm On/Off button and sometimes I would accidently set the time zone and get up much later :(

Thought about using the iPhone but missius won't allow mobile phones in the bedroom. Radiation she said :D

Saw some pretty funky alarm clocks around so wondering what everyone uses
