Ricardod
During my electrical check and cleaning up of old wiring i accidentaly disconnected the ecu's both plugs on my jdm mkiv NA-T with the battery attached, now i know this is stupid but my dad tryed to help me by allready reinstalling my battery whilest i was upside down in the footwell part of my supra . Checked all fuses in engine bay and footpannel, IGN fuse was gone and the rest was fine. i then tryed my ignition and the folowing things happened: - Electric mirrors not working - Windows not going up nor down - Wipers not working - Radio does eject cd but display wont go on - All the fan controls are not working - When i press my remote control for immobiliser and alarm, nothing happens. - when i put my key in the door and turn it over just 1 door locks and not 2, whilest if i turn my ignition on and press the immobiliser both doors close and open - lights working - when i put my key in the ignition turn it over ready for ignition, the abs and oil lamps wont go on, if i press the immobiliser the doors lock. - alarm does not work Annyone has anny ideas on this? Ricardod
Is it possible to kill an ECU by disconnecting the connectors with the battery still attached to it?
