sammytruck
would you change an HKS fcon pro ecu to something else so that a tuning specialist that is not hks registered is able to work on car, or, would you keep hks ecu and have work carried out by registered company..........most of the work on my car has been done by Torque Development int, i would like Thor to do next part.......but they cant tune and re-map whilst i have hks fcon pro ecu...........dont know what is the best move.....?? any input would be appreciated....thanks
Abz
Specs?
Ian W
Why are you so desperate for Thor to do it?
Swampy442
As above, why Thor? Ryan can map Fcon, Matt and Dude can map Fcon. Youre looking at AEMs and Solaris as a step up from a Pro V
sammytruck
not desperate, but have heard such good things about them, with the present ecu, i am told only a handfull of people can unlock the hks ecu, or is this untrue ?
JamieP
After seeing how bad the map was on my thor V8 supra id not let them map anything of mine, it was shocking, Ryan is the best out there imo.
Ian W
not desperate, but have heard such good things about them, with the present ecu, i am told only a handfull of people can unlock the hks ecu, or is this untrue ? Apologies, desperate sounded a bit harsh. As has been said though, there's a few that can map the hks I'm sure so unless you need the flexibility of the aem / solaris I'd be looking at those first. Specs would allow us to make a better assessment on what ECU you'd be better off with (that would be the royal 'we', not just me lol)

sammytruck
thanks to all for input............think the way forward is to keep the fcon pro.....
Nic
If it's one of the latest Fcon Pro models that can be mapped in the UK then I would definitely keep it.
Wez
As already mentioned more than once in this thread, Get Ryan on the case, he can sort your fcon
