JamieP
What cars do you think will be future classics that demand a high price? Seen what RS500's and old mk1/mk2 RS2000's go for these days? also E30 M3's have gone up a bit, not as much as the fords though, if you had told me 10-15 years ago the money these would fetch today id have said never. I fancy getting something that will go up in value, i think 996 turbo's are on the floor price wise, cant see them getting any lower myself, i also wonder if a mint/stock R32 GTR would ever be a future classic? Any other ideas?
Stephendjb
I think Renault Alpines are as low as they can possibly go & there aren't many left. Subaru SVX's seem to be on their way back up. Mk1 MR2's have hit rock bottom as well. I wish I'd bought the cheap BMW CSL I saw years ago

Swampy442
I think a tidy Mk1 MX5 will be an appreciating classic, Saab 900 turbo 16S/Carlssons too.

Homer
Yep, 22B as well. Think they're already rare and pricey enough! Aren't there only something like 200 of them?
Ian W
Think they're already rare and pricey enough! Aren't there only something like 200 of them? Yeah, pretty much I think. As you say, rarer and pricier than a P1 but will still likely appreciate further imo.

j_jza80
BMW M5 (E39) Like this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2817956.htm And the Honda NSX I strongly agree with the M5. They're becoming seriously cheap now, while still having high running costs. Give it a few years and good ones will command good money again, similar Will happen with the E60. Sierra RS500 command similar to a very good 22B, but the prices are sky rocketing now. Actually, either of these cars too: Limited edition German cars are almost always a safe bet too.
