They charge £250 plus the vat to fit these so I wondered if anyone has fitted one how hard are they? It would save me £200 to fit this myself. Guest ugp Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Used to fit these a lot, not too difficult. Most of the block connectors are within easy reach, not much soldering to do either. I'd set aside a weekend to get it perfect if you've never done one before. Get a multimeter, some solder & heatshrink. Don't twist & tape the wires, its just a nasty bodge that wont last 5 minutes.
