Blackie
For sale is my Wesley semi acoustic guitar. Brand new strings and profestionally set up in the guitar shop. No scratches or dings Bit off ebay: This traditional big-toned and wide-bodied single cutaway archtop is much more than an old fashioned dance hall semi-acoustic. This versatile guitar can tear away at an amp like an axe with its double humbucker pickups. Black perspex volume and tone knobs offer each pickup a spectrum of tone. Unplugged with heavier gauge strings this is a great fireside friend. The Archtop sports a tight harp tailpiece secured at the base. This holds the strings in check over a free floating rosewood and tunomatic bridge. Finally the guitar's semi-acoustic abilities are proudly underlined by the the bound-edge f-holes. £80 ono & £10 postage

James
I was thinking of getting an acoustic but that's tempting actually... but where's the pics man? It isn't an acoustic, per say. A couple of big factors which give acoustics their sound are the thickness of the body (much more depth than a hollowbody jazz style guitar like Blackie's) and also the use of bronze/phosphor bronze strings as opposed to the pure nickel/nickel-plated steel/stainless steel used on Blackie's (which is - in fact - pretty similar to a regular electric guitar, just without the weight due to being hollow which gives a different sound and good unplugged projection). Go for it though The price this is up for is pretty good, nice guitars for the money
Thorin
It isn't an acoustic, per say. I know, hence the "but" in my post. I played for years but have lapsed somewhat recently and have been wanting to buy a new guitar. Still have an old Squier strat but frets are knackered and the amp died long ago. Blackie
It sound pretty good with fatter strings on and it sounds slightly better than my Fernandes through my amp
