Chris Wilson Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 It will easily turn it over. Even a manual, in gear with someone with their foot on the brake will rarely hold it. There's too much compliance in the drive train to lock the engine solid. We are talking UNDOING the bolt here, not, as the original poster is, pulling the pulley off the crank when the bolt is finally removed. You need to lock the crank up solid, or use an impact gun.
