Attero
I'm looking to get a new phone and I'm liking the idea of these deals with cashback and such (yet I have no idea how they work, but I've known people to be quite happy with them). Has anyone had any experience with Dial-a-phone for purchasing their monthly contracted phone? I could get a nice HTC Desire HD with unlimited texts, 300 minutes, 1GB Data for around £30 per month (then a 5 stage £155 cashback deal), but I've seen mixed reviews. Anyone? Or any better suggestions?
Soopra
i did one a few years ago where you get cash back. was a bit of a fuss to be honest. after 6 months i had to send them a voucher and they sent me a cheque, same again at 12 months. meant i had to keep original documentation to hand AND remember to post vouchers off. not sure if its still done the same way. Paul
I decided against getting my HD from them because of the stage cashbacks, couldn't be bothered with all that. In the end I purchased from Orange direct through a my company discount site and got £150 cashback anyway all in one payment. With the stages they are a silly intervals, you have to be spot on with the timing too or they get out of it.
Scott
No hassles with dial-a-phone but the staged cashbacks are a PITA. I don't think I've ever gotten what I was meant to due to forgetting about it. Most of the phone sales places do the same though, very rare to see a proper cash back deal. With it being a new phone it will be hard to come by also. Vodafone offered me £130 for my HTC desire, no strings.

dangerous brain
I'll add my tuppence to the PITA of claiming the money back. Life is so hectic that its very easy to forget some 6 months down the road. if you aren't 100% organised you'll miss out on a payment and I think if you miss one then thats it you don't get the others after it.
