I am a bit over BPU+,and was wondering what modification's need to be done in order to gain more power.ie, this is my current spec..

HKS drager

HKS SSQV BOV

HKS boost controller

BLITZ de-cat

BLITZ SUS induction

ARC FMIC type S

TOMEI 1 fuel pump

APEXi s-afc

So, what else would you lot advise in order to get that bit more out of the ceramic sequential setup, without drastic changes?

All comment's are well appreciated.

As a newbie I know that I would love for someone to go through that list and explain what each mod does and how it does it.

Come on guys, I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know what all of them do.

(In particular the afc)

HKS drager - Big ass pipe

HKS SSQV BOV - Makes loud wooshy noises

HKS boost controller - Makes car go faster

BLITZ de-cat - Makes car louder

BLITZ SUS induction - Makes more wooshy noises

ARC FMIC type S - Cools stuff down

TOMEI 1 fuel pump - pumps optimax around

APEXi s-afc - trims fuelling down (not really needed unless running larger injectors I think)

What to do next? Get EGT gauge if you haven't already... Then hybrids and bigger injectors, or maybe cams.

Exuse my dumbness, but what are egt's(is it exhaust gas temprature gauge)and what do they do.I don't really want to change the turbo's, I want to see what an stock turbo car's limit is. Cams gears? Would it be worth putting them on,what sort of gain's do these give?

Get rid of the 1st cat, nearest the engine. Think about adding water injection, or using a more efficient intercooler. Chances are your stock one has lost a lot of its finning due to corrosion, if the fins are flaking off the tubes its efficiency will be terribly poor.

Caveat, I supply WI kits (ERL Aquamist system 1s for 290 pounds, and modern better spec stock mount all ali intercoolers for around 500 pounds.

Hi Mohammed

Welcome to the forum.

My previous post was not directed towards you, more of an 'in joke'.(you will realise soon enough!)

Although there is a faq facility on the forum, this cannot cater for all quieries that regularly appear here.

Usually, if someone has a technical problem, it will have been covered before, so the search facility will normally provide answers to most questions.

However, please feel free to prove me wrong!!

Enjoy your MKiv
