BigRoy
As Geeza says, Religion was created and is used for control of the masses. The real enemy is extremism and fanaticism, and they exist in all religions.
Guest Sakura
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/londonnews/articles/10329634?version=1 Made me grit my teeth when reading this again today That is quite shocking! But Sayful and his friends laugh at the idea that they are local pariahs. "The mosques say one thing to the public, and something else to us. Let's just say that the face you see and the face we see are two different faces," says Abdul Haq. "Believe me," adds Musa, "behind closed doors, there are no moderate Muslims." JustGav
I can say with a clear mind that I am one of the easiest people to get on with... I have no problem with anyones views on one condition, don't FORCE it on me, I'll happily debate my thoughts all day long, but I will walk away respecting yours and expect the same... Sadly certain people have got the view of 'Mine is right, yours is wrong'... And even Christians are bad for that. I remember working with one bloke, who shouted and argued with me blue in the face, that his particular version of happy clappy chrisitianity was correct, and that would burn in hell for being a COE child.. I almost told him I was satanist purely just to wind him up and get him out of my face....but he was so extremist he would probably petrol bomb my house... As far as people in this country go... work for a living and just get on with what you do and don't affect me or my family and I won't have a problem... cause my family trouble and then I will get upset... I've got very good muslim friends and we all get on fine, nothing but total respect... at my wedding I had my best friend in south africa, and he brought his wife along (he is a devout muslim and as such his wife would not normally attend such functions... it was I who felt honoured that I had been considered family and was given his muslim faith blessings). I would defend this man with everything I have because he does the same for me at all costs. But sadly not everyone sees things this way

Nick
Religion isn't the problem, it's people's interpretation.... Then add to that the West manipulating, and generally sticking their nose into the affairs of the Middle East to ensure a free flowing supply of oil.... It was only a matter of time. I agree with Geezer. If you don't support Britain or do not contribute to the good of the Country then I'll be only too happy to escort you to France It's just another war and it won't be the last. Pete
I remember hearing something in a comedy and it struck home for me... Went along the lines of the first page of the bible/koran whatever you prefer being found with the phrase 'To my dearest Marge, please enjoy this story' It was in one of the first Red Dwarfs. Classic.
