Scoboblio
There's been one explosion at Liverpool st, and another one at Edgeware road, the transport police are saying that a power surge is responsible. There are walking wounded leaving King's cross and at least one person has life threatening injuries.

GeordieSteve
Can't be a power surge can it? A bus has also exploded. Hope everyones ok
far
Everything's blamed on the terrorists these days, doesnt look good if londons entire tube network collapses a day after we win the 2012 bid due to a technical problem, I can imagine the French sniggering at this one. Hope everyone gets out ok

China Man
I work at Fenchurch street and today is my day off, lucky. I use liverpool street stating eveyday and I think the power surge theory is BS too.
JustGav
It won't be a power surge, the system is designed to protect against that kind of thing... There must be a cause as to why the system surged... And with the buses, lets be honest.... I've sent my team home for the day from the office, since a few of them live near london and around the top of the m25 Gav
Supragal
"The National Grid, which supplies power to the Underground, said there had been no problems with its system which could have contributed to the incidents." hmmm. looking more and more like a people calming tactic in the first instance.
