nemo_arta Posted June 4, 2011 Share Posted June 4, 2011 looking for some cheap glass headlights as i cant justify spending crazy money on lights!! but more importantly i need a good running starter motor.. cheap agaion as car wont turn over at all right now. some1 b4 offered me 1 for 20 and i was awy and didnt notice for like a month so anyone out there got a spare/ un needed 1?? thanks supra lovers! Morpheus Posted June 5, 2011 Share Posted June 5, 2011 So what's the consensus on here re. starting problems, I mean, is it the solenoid contacts all of the time or do the motor brushes actually wear out in some cases? If it engages and tries to turn but has trouble, it could be a flat battery or even corroded cables. With a dodgy solenoid, it either will or it won't. That reminds me, UK's do have adjuster motors for the low (centre) beam for towing. Yet another feature that our JDM's don't have. Wonder if they can be wired up easily?
