glass headlights starter motor

looking for some cheap glass headlights as i cant justify spending crazy money on lights!! but more importantly i need a good running starter motor.. cheap agaion as car wont turn over at all right now. some1 b4 offered me 1 for 20 and i was awy and didnt notice for like a month so anyone out there got a spare/ un needed 1?? thanks supra lovers!

sorry it is a habit i am looking for a set of cheap glass head lights maybe slight damage to brackets but no damage to glass excepted. i can make a new bracket. only i just justify spending alot as i dont have much cash right now. more importantly i need a starter motor as its a real struggle to turn the car over. thanks and sorry

So what's the consensus on here re. starting problems, I mean, is it the solenoid contacts all of the time or do the motor brushes actually wear out in some cases? I've had two MkIII motors apart and cannot for the life of me imagine them wearing out and it was the two solenoid units that failed.

What exactly happens when you turn the key? If it engages and tries to turn but has trouble, it could be a flat battery or even corroded cables. With a dodgy solenoid, it either will or it won't.

 

For that matter, if the engine oil is thick or low enough it could even be that.

Do glass headlights have a starter motor? Well you learn something every day..!!

 

That reminds me, UK's do have adjuster motors for the low (centre) beam for towing. Yet another feature that our JDM's don't have. Wonder if they can be wired up easily?
