bobapple
Hi everyone, I have just swapped round my PAS reservoir for a nice shiny one, all went ok, but my pump has a little buzzing noise since doing this as I am guessing their will be a small amount of air trapped in the system. So is there a way to bleed the system to get rid of the light buzz before to much dage to pump happens. Thanks Si
DuaneT.Turbo
I think i looked up a thread a while ago about bleeding this, i believe you take the cap off and turn the wheel side to side full lock a few times.. D
bobapple
Cool I sort of did that not full lock though then topped up and it seemed to quite down the buzz, hoping that was right way, but shut it down and posted this thread as I was worried I maybe damaging the pump. Thanks mate for the quick reply.
mwilkinson
When I changed mine for a Whifbitz kit I elevated the front of the car and did full lock on the steering wheel until the whine stopped. Once happy I lowered the car and did the same a few times. I then took it for a cautious drive. All was good and no noise.
