bonus_2000
I saw this being advertised on tv the other week, never tried it myself, but is it really as hard as they make it out to be on the tv (they make out the first 2 weeks are painful!)? bradleyh_15
Does not really give you much info on the site only that it's interval based training and that "all you need is a DVD"
JimC
Well, let me put it this way...i consider myself a pretty fit person. I train 5 times a week, mixed weights and cardio and also do a lot of boxing. I have run several half marathons and completed 2 full marathons. I'm by no means the fittest person, but do ok. However, this is on another level altogether! My whole body feels like its been 12 rounds with mike tyson everyday! The nutrition plan is very well done aswell and provides a structured plan for the 60 days eating. It is not a diet, you simply couldnt diet with this level of training, but obviously, high protein, medium carbs. I'm only a week in so my experience with it is still in its infancy, but loving it so far. :-)
TLicense
So what's the score with the Max Interval Training then Jim?
bradleyh_15
You will feel the pain as it's a new higher intensity regimen and your body/muscles will have to get used to the new activity and new intake of food! Good luck though mate
JimC
So what's the score with the Max Interval Training then Jim? Well, Im no expert, but Interval Training i have done before has been somehting along the lines of 60 seconds on, 40 second off etc. This is 4 minutes on at High intensity and then 30 seconds rest! Killer!
bonus_2000
Cool, would be interested to see how you get on with it, the things like this you see on tv are rarely how they are in real life, but this sounds good.

I couldnt agree more. This is NOTHING like I've ever done or even considered before. DVD workouts were something i left to my girlfriend, but hopefully this will make a change to my thinking...in fact i think it's already changed my mind. :-)

Charlotte
I used to do some interval training at the gym but mainly 2 mins on/1 min off. Can't imagine this - sounds insane!

Westy
Sounds tough mate! Did you take your before pic for comparison!
JimC
Yeah Im afraid to say i did! As bad as it sounds, it's one of the best ways to assess the gains you make. Measurements and numbers sometimes mean very little compared to what you look at and more importantly, want you want to look at when it's done! I was just thinking the same....first impression was that it would be a typical gain 30lb of muscle in 6 weeks type things. wouldn't mind seeing the diet too
