Just a quick plug for my band "A Promise To No-one". We've just finished recording our first EP which we're calling "Weapons" after one of the songs.

Feedback is always appreciated, and if you like what you hear don't be scared to hit the like button

And for those not on facebook:

And if anyone happens to work for a record company, feel free to offer us a recording contract ;)

Love the groove on 'knucle up' Very nice.

I hate commenting on bands...as quite honestly it's a hard thing to do without being misunderstood.

Guitarist and bass(that's you) all good. Drummer, - yep, he's alright. I think the singer needs to...sing more. What I mean by that is- more gigs, more rehearsal, more recording, listen to himself...and repeat.

Put it this way. If you've all been together for 10 years I'd say...it's kind of ok, but it's not great.

I suspect you haven't. So good. Keep going. Keep playing and enjoy yourselves.

And finally...my biggest piece of advice. Don't listen to what anyone's got to say. Especially old blokes like me.

As Zappa said "Shut Up 'n' Play Yer Guitar!" :)

Lmb's advice is pretty spot on.

Your instruments are tight, and your sound is good. Your singer, however, is letting you down. It's not that he's bad, he's just trying too hard to be someone else. He's pushing notes to the point where he jumps from sharp to flat within the same note, it's a little bizarre. He's just needs to reel back a little, and find a style of singing his voice can cope with.

Cheers for the feedback guys, all much appreciated. No I aint the singer ;) He's the youngest of all of us and a little excitable. He is getting better though. And no, our name wasn't taken from a Biffy song. It was actually taken from a saying our singers mother used to say to him, "tomorrow is a promise to no-one". Which he got everytime he said "I'll do it tomorrow!"
