hi everyone, i have a 94 supra RZ TT manual, i have 2 niggling problems im hoping someone can shed some light on...

1st is when i drive the car on boost giving it some, soon as im coming to a junction and put the car in neutral the revs drop and she stalls however if i drive off boost or light on boost she doesnt stall, any ideas?

2nd is from a standing start or 1st gear out of a junction; if i take her all through the revs ready to change at just below 7k RPM shel feel like iv hit the redline at 6000RPM and the same in 2nd gear yet 3rd gear onwards are fine and will happily climb to 7000RPM, any ideas?

the car has no electronic gizzmos whatsoever and only BPU mods are Exhaust and induction kit, no other mods.

my thoughts for this one is the small turbo on its way out but hopefully you guys know?

Thanks

could be the O2 sensor... might need a clean - failing that, get it to a specialist.

It won't be the O2 sensor as you'll be out of closed loop. Either stuck ICV or overfuelling in general for some other reason. In fact, if it doesn't try and stall when driving off boost then the O2 sensor is deffo working as it'll be trying to reign in any overfuelling issue by using closed loop fuel adjustment.

My Supra is doing exactly the same thing. Wont idle after driving on boost, but will start straight again and run fine, although sometimes it then idles a little low. Also im sorta hitting an imaginary redline at 6k when accelerating hard. My car is stock HP but with a 2nd decat, FMIC, and Nur spec exhaust. Im going to be changing the Map sensor, O2 sensor ECU temp sender and ICV soon, one at a time, to try to eliminate the problem. Oh yeah and im also going to fit a Bosch 040 pump, as my car is an NA-TT conversion. Is ours a TT from stock? I Would like wise love some help with this! As whilst im great with anything mechanical or carb'd, fuel injection, efi and the electric side of things are beyond my comprehension at the mo, so its trial and error atm!
