SupraD06
Do you mean it keeps climbing up after 3000rpm or it sticks at that?

SupraD06
Could be the throttle cable sticking? Your pulling the cable when pushing on the pedal, but when you release the pedal the throttle is stuck open
imran
even when i take the cable off the throttle body it still happens

Scott
If you have taken the cable off the throttle body then it's the throttle body at fault mate. Snapped butterfly or something?
Supra Gaz
I think explaining the problem a bit more thoroughly would help? im going to go for the simplest explanation, is the throttle pedal trapped on your carpet? aka scaryprius syndrome
imran
yeah thanks il check maybe its that.

RobD
yeah thanks il check maybe its that. no its not stuck on my carpet Take your intercooler pipe that's going onto the throttle body off and check inside the throttle body itself, see if there's anything noticeably wrong
racestyle
you had a dead battery ? or taken the battery off at any point , my clio did this , had to take the battery off for a few mins then it was fine
downimpact
I had an issue like this when a pipe was coming off to the intercooler, rev's kept building to 5000 and holding. Once the pipe came off it was fine just no boost. Don't know why not a mechanic, but once the pipes were refitted it fixed the problem.
