Broken PS3's

Recommended Posts

I have 2 broken PS3's ATM, one a 60gb and the other I bought off eBay to fix the 60gb, it didn't come with a hard drive but the seller said it was faulty and suspected it was the motherboard, it turned out to be the disc drive the same as my 60gb so it's left me with 2 ps3's with the same fault!

So this being the case I'm just going to sell both and put the extra towards a new ps3!

Not sure what to price these at and they'll no doubt end up on eBay but thought I'd let you lot have first choice as I know there is a few tech wiz kids on here :)

£80 delivered :)

The 60gb has a hard drive, the other doesn't! The case on the 60gb slides up and down a bit more freely than it should ( the part the says " playstation 3".

The fault with the 60gb is that when it boots up it doesn't show none of the home page, I.e no settings, videos music etc, I took it to my local game shop that fixes PS3's, xbox's etc, he said that the drive was out of balance or something or other, I have the invoice that they gave me stating the fault and they said it would be £60 to fix, the other ps3 hasn't got a hard drive so I've never attempted to turn it on!

Dagnamit, My old phat ps3 is knackered. Bought a new drive but I think its a problem with the mobo, so if you decide to sell em for bits after playing with them scott give me a shout. Or if you need a new drive the same applies :)
