If you want 600bhp then you'll have to do a single turbo conversion.

Not true, young man... :)

He'll need to revamp the turbo setup, but there are many options.

For 600bhp, though. I'd go for a Billet 6765 and a built autobox, minimum of 3" FMIC, 800cc injectors, twin feed rail, new FPR, Bosch 044 pump. Syvecs ECU, 3" exhaust all the way through.

im unsure of turbo sizes and names and also prices if i want 600 bhp what turbo should i be looking for

1. How much are you looking to spend on the conversion? For a good reliable 600hp using good quality parts (not cheap Ebay cr*p) you are looking at £10K+ on top of your engine conversion cost and you could easily double or treble that figure depending on the spec and how far you wanted to go.

2. What gearbox are you using? The 2JZ-GE 5spd box will not handle anything near that power and the stock auto will be close to it's limit, a 6spd Getrag box will handle 600hp.

A stock 2JZ-GTE engine in good working order will handle 600+hp. If you are doing a 2JZ-GTE engine transplant I'd get the engine rebuilt before fitting.

A 67mm turbo would be the usual choice for the sort of power you are wanting. Although saying that if it was my car I'd use a smaller Garrett GTX35R.

whats a precision hi stall converter and a lock up switch who would be the best people to contact for info

Im sure whoever you get to do the conversion will know where to source the box and converter and also how to do the lock up conversion so it does not cook on the motorway.

go manwel getrag or it will have to be boostlogic box and setup. I have been through all this and in the end manwel is the way. Who is gonna map your auto? thats the hard part. ryan wont do it on AEM, so you would have to go fcon pro or motec which is even more money.

Syvecs will do it.

Oh, do you mean "manual"? :p
