Chris Wilson
Much I'm a Hamilton fan, have you seen his twitter page? He writes like an illiterate 16 year old. The ones that are written correctly seem to be done by someone else, maybe his PR folks I remember him well from his karting days, neither he nor his old man struck me as people who might spend the evening doing the Times crossword. They were however obviously intent on "going places" and could be a Royal PITA at times.
RedM
He's never come across as particularly bright though, his impressive biography has always focussed on racing or his black belt in Karate and whatnot, they never mention his schooling so I guessed it was below average. You have to be fairly smart (I'd guess) to be an F1 driver. All the information that needs processing, the huge amount of multi-tasking, the ability to articulate what you think of the way the car is running. So on and so on. FWIW There are a lot of people on here here who comes across just as 'thick' but have good jobs and the like. Just a thought.

I think I'm assuming he's a bit like a dim mechanic, who can take an engine apart for you and tell you what the flux capacitor does, but can't add or read a book. Intelligence is indeed a multi-faceted object, we assume someone with 11 A*s and a first class degree is 'smart', but can they play football? Incidentally, I've got Lewis' book at home, I've read about half but it does seem to be written by a child, I'm sure he didn't write it but must have had his words transcribed in some way. edinlexusV8
You can stay with previous generation and just like that racing where you actually go very fast on a straight line with engines having a high rev limit and chucking out a lot of power or you can like new generation where it is all about reducing the lap time and going fast round a corner not as fast as it used to be on a straight. The Gssss make a big difference these days as the more faster you go round the corer the more Gsssss the driver has to cope. The good old wheel to wheel racing is always fun to watch. Prob later the drivers will be replaced with robots/electronic units anywhy or every driver should have some metal implants for their neck n back bone. Dont think the rev limit/power band is much different now to what it was then? did you not watch the links i put up? Racing against the clock is a time trial? & i thought F1 had a drivers championship. Why would anyone watch robots racing????????? Racing very fast in a straight line is called drag racing? dont understand where you are coming from?
