looking to tidy up the engine bay first on the list are the Vac pipes.

Going to replace them but do i replace as they are, shorten them as much as possible or try and hide some of them if possible?

thanks in advance

I did notice that there was only one fitted when i bought the car from whifbitz but really never gave it much thought until you mentioned, as the car has been running well!

I take it the left pulley which is the upgraded HKS is the exhaust one? and the right is air is still standard?

Now looking to upgraded the other pulley.

Who is the best person to fit and tune? Don`t mine travelling anywhere from central Scotland to The Midlands.

You're holding your camera upside down bud :D

Not really a great deal you can do with the vac lines if you are staying sequential to be honest. You can certainly tidy them up a little, colour code them if you wish, and have them all the right lengths... but other than that there aren't really a lot of hiding options.

Hi scott, who would you recommend to install vernier pulley and tune in central belt?

What is the alternative to sequential set up? easy or hard to do?

seems pic rotates when transferred from mac to site.

cheers

To be honest there is noone I recommend around here. I know more about Supras than most of the ones I have encountered so I tend to do my own work now (all picked up from this very site).

Removing the vernier pulley should be relatively easy to be honest. If the timing belt hasn't been done then it would be a good time to get that done also. Are you going with stock or aftermarket?

Alternatives to sequential include...

Single Turbo Installation - Removing the twins and going with 1 larger more efficient turbo (££££s)

TTC Mode - Removing most of the vac lines and most of the VSVs in order to run in what is called true sequential mode. This simply means that both turbos spool at the same time, leading to a smoother power curve etc. Loss of low down grunt though. Few ways to do this, electronic version, pipe swap method or hardwired method.

Cheers for the info Scott

Thinking on sticking another Hsk pulley on it should give me a bit more adjustment in the future if required.

Just going to sort the vac pipes out as they are at the moment the wife wants a new pram for the wee yin , maybe in the future i may change the set up.

I might be wrong but I don't think the pulleys give you much to be honest. Especially at BPU levels. You would need to throw in cams and an ECU to use the adjustment properly, the gains to be gotten I would say would be minimal though.
