dude
Guys a while back i posted this pic of my rear spoiler and asked if it was the standard one , the response was no and someone thought it was a Wings West one , if you stand at the side of the car the front edge is level with tailgate edge , in other words it comes out the back of the car at an angle and if you drop a tape down of the front edge it measures 41/2 inches in height to the tailgate , ive measured another sup and the spoiler rise up steeper so that if you take a line straight up off the tailgate edge you end up about 3 inches into the underside of the spoiler and it is 7inches tall , the whole point of this confusing post is that i bought another spoiler off Justin at Torque IC and it is identical to the one on my car , i phoned him up and he measured another 1 he had up there , the same , 41/2 inches , so do UK cars have a different rear spoiler to J-spec as the spoiler justin sent is too well made to be a copy and he is sure it came from Toyota , will try and find a pic of what i consider the 'full' size spoiler too. paulrenn
Hi John, Just for info, I believe some European Supras came with a kind of "half height" spoiler to meet certain local regulations, Switzerland springs to mind. I'll try to find a pic of one of those market cars and post it, but why the hell that should be on a Jap spec I have no idea!
kubus1
My car is originally from Switzerland and its got a full size spoiler. I ll try to find a pic. Cuba

Supra Pilot
John, I just measured both the Uk spec and J spec spoilers, they are both exactly same dimensions. 8" height wise......see photo below for where I took measuremens.
dude
Thanks guys apparently this was an option (for the shy retiring type) , the interesting thing is having spoke to Justin at Torque IC he cant recall seeing a car with the big one on , he said he will take the spoiler back off me (top bloke) and i think ive located the tall one in the right colour . Guest Martin F
I think the aerotop spoiler may be different to the standard ones. IMO
