bh4v1k
Brand new never used Tial MV-R 44mm Vband Wastegate Complete Kit - Extra Springs Included. Bought for my GT35r setup but had change of plans and wont be needing it now. Summary The MVR44 is the newest wastegate in Tial's Lineup and is the direct replacement for the now discontinued Tial V44 44mm Wastegate. It is the first wastegate in their lineup to feature water-cooling capability. There is a water inlet and outlet fitting that cycles a small amount of coolant through the actuator to keep the temperature under control in extreme applications like road racing. Wastegates are an essential part of any turbocharged powerplant. Controlling boost not only ensures that you are maintaining the correct pressures for the fuel you are running, but it also prevents overboost situations where the turbocharger is forced to spin faster than it would like. In these instances, you actually can loose horsepower, as the air is being super-heated by the compressor. This TiAL unit will handle boost control duties flawlessly when placed in a well designed system. This wastegate comes standard with TiAL's racing valve stem. The valve stem has a wear coating on it which is resistant to corrosive lead oxides that appear when running leaded racing fuels. Kit Includes: Brand new never used Tial MVR 44mm Wastegate 2 Banjo Air Fittings 2 Tial Water Fittings Inlet Vband Flange and Clamp Outlet Vband Flange and Clamp Fasteners Plugs for Unused Air Ports Standard spring in the wastegate is the MVR plain which is rated to over a bar? The biggest single spring there is Extra Springs (RRP. £32) Maroon and Grey (together make 0.8 bar) These extra springs will take the wastegate to 1.8 Bar + Looking for £332 Delivered for the whole kit. Scott
... Still none the wiser bud. What springs are included? 1.5bar is fine for the top limit, what is the range of options though?
caseys
See I may need this, but I can buy one of these for less than the price asking + £8/additional spring of my choice, so wanted to know more about what springs you had. I'm running 0.7 bar at the moment but want to try .8/.9/1.0 too.
bh4v1k
Well judging from the Tial chart. The wastegate has a MVR plain one in which is rated to 1 bar minimum so am told and the extra springs are grey and maroon which are rated to 0.8 together. So i might be wrong about 1.5 its 1.8 bar altogether. http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/MVRSPC.pdf Hope this helps.
