supRo
Has anyone done this? What's your opinion?
supRo
sowwie, did a search afterwards and found some good info!! Would anyone recommend doing it? Cheers
Chris Wilson
NO! If I had a manual six speed I'd put a longer gear lever in it to reduce the effort. It's a truck like `orribl change as it is, would be dreaful with a short throw kit, far too much effort and too close a gate. IMO.
Matt T
Saw some very nice looking kits at GT Battle at the Invo Auto stand. I had a B&M kit on my civic and it was great, vastly improved the gear shift, but on a Supe! The throw is so small anyway i couldnt imagine what it would be like with a 50% reduction, it must be tiny!
SteveL
I had a B&M fitted yesterday, as my stock shift was sloppier than a sloppy thing, and I must admit it's very good. It's nice to know you're definately in gear as its got a notchy but positive feel to it. The throw is only supposed to be about 25% less. ( sorry Chris )
