Markie
Hello all, Just wondering if anyone got some ideas on a problem I got with the jeep. All of a sudden it seems to shake a bit/shudder and make a drowning noise. Does not happen above 50MPH when free-wheeling, but when you put the power on it does occur. I have checked the wheel bearings and they seem to be OK. Wondering what else the problem could be. Sounds like the problem is towards the rear of the vehicle. Any ideas please? Thanks, Marcus. P.s. Was wondering maybe wheel balencing/tracking - but thought it would still do the shudder etc when when free-wheeling. Hoipe its not rear axle/gearbox related...! terribleturner
If you PM Kevin on here, he should be able to help. His wife runs a Jeep owners website.

Markie
Hmm, not long filled the rear and front diff. Maybe worth checking the seal on the rear though I guess.. This one is a 1.6 JLX also...
