Hello

i've got a problem with mine supra,

it's a uk one, with OBX TO4s single, tial wastegate 46mm , ebay manifold,

at cold start and during 10minutes while rolling, my car smokes a lot with a blue smoke.

and after when hard pulling it's doing it again

before changing for a single , there weren't any problem.

i'm asking myself one question , is my oil feed line and return line, maybe too inclinate?

i post you pics to have your opinion

or do you have any ideas?

the probleme is that if the lines are too much inclinates it would be hard to change it without my return line touch the manifold, or can i do it without problem?

sorry for my english, i'm french and try to best my best to be comprehensible

Many thanks

Tom

the turbo is brand new, no second hand, done 200 miles with it and before first start , i've started the engine without the ignition to fill it with oil

Ask them in writing if the turbo is made in the USA or the far east (probably China?), and see what they say, I am sorry to say I would think your issues are a turbo one.

the turbo can be dead with only 200miles?? i've put only 1.4bars on it

this can't be anything else in the mounting?

because i've done a trip with the car this evening and the car still pulls like a train

i 've look my return line under the turbo, and it seems to be full of oil like if the oil is sitting at this location.

if the return is too much inclinated , can this cause an oil sitting in the turbo and after it goes into the intake and exhaust?

Not sure on the angle of the pipes but the reason some of us think it is the turbo oil seals is that it doesn't affect performance so it will still pull strong but it means oil is leaking into your turbo and burning - causing the blue smoke - the problems are that you will lose oil a lot more quickly than you should and may run dry if you don't keep an eye on it

I'm not 100% clued up on the exact requirements needed for a single turbo but i have non stopped been looking into it for months now but with the list of

stock UK pump and 550cc injectors.

Piggyback ecu (mapecu)

Aem wide band

Doesn't sound efficient enough anyway? Surely u have to have uprated fuel pump, bigger injectors than 550cc and full management to support this? Dont want to under fuel and melt a piston or sumin...

Uk pump normally good for 520 ish fwhp,

550 injectors, 500 ish fwhp....just at 95% duty.
