SkyJawa
Right then! Is there any way you can buy a privately sold car but stick it on a credit card? I have a 0% card I'd want to use to put the balance on (no probs if it was a trader obviously) but can I get the balance onto it privately in any way? RedM
The seller would have to have some sort of credit card payment set-up. I can't see that it can be done unless they have a business they could put it through. I'd be interested to know if there is a way. I have a 0% card too. Ian R
Too slow You could also set up two paypal accounts under seperate paypal accounts put your bank account details in one and credit card in another pay from one paypal account to the other then debit to your bank account
MARTIN R
I arranged for my credit card company to advance the funds into my personal bank account when purchasing my Supra (I was waiting for other funds to arrive). I therefore was able to write a personal cheque. The charge was minimal and the interest on my credit account was also 0%. But I guess it would depend on what your lender would charge etc... Yeah, I do have credit card cheques with it, but they don't qualify for 0% Don't think any of my others have them................ How do you transfer funds from card to bank then? SkyJawa
Neil, what car have you got your eye on this time ? LOL And @ Far. The Skyline has the nail in the coffin now. A simple bearing replacement before I sold it is going to end up costing me around 700 quid FFS. Got my eye on a 200SX If I can 0% it then I don't need to worry about selling the GTR, can do it whenever! That would then leave me enough money for a ZX6R and some left over! Ian R
Credit Card cheques are usually classed as cash advances so you will probably incur cash advance charges when you use them
