Suprab1
Are these the pipe things that go on the fuel pipe? I have seen evos ect with these but afaik they are only suited for upto a 2 litre. They are also suppose to last about 250k miles/km but i'd look into them alot more before i would put one on my car. Could you not just use Vpower ect? farmer
v powers good but the nearest is 80 miles to the east and 40 ish north, they come for differing engine sizes but theres a lot of contradiction in peoples opinions. local fuel suppliers have not got a good reliable reputation except morrison but they dot have a premium pump. sideexitsupra
Can you not get Tesco Momentum 99Ron? Thought most tescos were selling that now? Of course I quite understand if you do not want to put Supermarket fuel in your car.

farmer
well on paper they appear to have an advantage and no disadvantages or risks, so has any body got one of these fitted and do they work ?
Paul
I've got some snake oil if you're interested?
Chris Wilson
They don't work, they can't work, and they are pure, unadulterated rubbish. If they DID work don't you think every engine maker would be using them on production cars to up the CR and get better emissions and performance? You have more chance of upping the octane by peeing in the tank than with those things.
Si_s Supe
THE one and ONLY affect I can see this having on your fuel is reducing it's flow!! I've seen other versions before where you drop them into your fuel tank. As far as I can see, these are just well marketed pap!! As Chris said, if they really were magic, why are they not fitted to all high performance cars as standard? I think if I were you I'd steer clear. Suprab1
I got chatting the lad in the shop who sells them & he told me he wouldn't put one is his s15, so that tells you they are just dung.
Chris Wilson
so that tells you they are just dung. Is that colloquialism meant to make "farmer" feel at home? Edited May 21, 2011 by Chris Wilson (see edit history)
