Steve Cargill
Looking into getting the Lexus GS300 sport rims and want to check the tyre sizes. As far as I can tell the fronts are 245/40-18 and the rears are 275/35-18. Is this correct?
Mark D
Where are you going to get them from and about how much are they? Are there any pics of them around? I hear they are well made wheels and I am keen to change my alloys soon.

Mark D
Come on then Matt, post up a pic of your wheels or I'll start asking you questions about the awful sub I inherited with my J-spec.
Matt Harwood
Steve, the sizes you quote are the correct sizes. Pic as requested... Steve Cargill
Originally posted by Matt Harwood Steve, the sizes you quote are the correct sizes. Cheers Matt, very tempting but I'm amazed at the price of the tyres. F1 for a stock 17" rear is £120, they are about £210 for these, and thats from Merit Tyre, most companies are quoting 3-400 I'm sure that they fit on over UK brakes OK, no changes and OK under the arches - I've got stock suspension. I thought they were a greyish, greenish, goldy bronze colour - or are there two colours available?
DArby
Steve They definately fit over UK brakes and under the arches. The stock colour is polished fronts with antracite insides. My were like that when i got them, then did them antracite all over, and are now - finished in the silver used to paint Audi TT wheels. I'll find a picture... Dean. Matt Harwood
Steve, I got my rears locally for £150 each and fronts for £125 each. Goodyear F1's fully fitted. As Dean says, no problems with fitting those wheels.
Steve Cargill
Thanks for the replys, I though that was the case but wanted to make sure. I've taken the plunge and gone for them. Dean - car looks very good, but didn't they forget to put something on the boot Matt - Do you have their details, that's very cheap and probably well worth a trip. Hi Mark, sorry I missed your first post, I'm not ignoring you!! I'm getting them off a mate, I'm not sure what you'd pay for them in the open market. Sorry. Mark D
OK Steve Lucky for you. If anyone else does know how much they should cost please post it up.
Steve Cargill
I picked them up today, very nice Just need to get the tyres sorted now.... One think I noticed was the 10" rears felt lighter than the 8.5" fronts, so I weighed them. 10" rears are 26lbs 8.5" fronts are 28lbs Hu!!!
