Birthday present for the Mrs : Bike

SPG

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, basically its my Wife's BD at the end of the month and i have already bought her a major present but was looking to get her a little something as a fun gift. I decided to get her a Bike (cycle) as i live in East Lothian and the scenery and bike route's are really nice.

So i was wondering if anyone on here had any experience when it comes to bicycles, i know that i am looking for a Hybrid and not a full on Mountain or Road bike. My budget is going to be around the £200 mark as this is a little something to add to her main present.

Thanks in advance,

Suuny

What was her main present? I only ask because mine would be lucky if she got a breadmaker or a chipfryer. you know, something she can enjoy every day ;)

Had a registry marriage but not had the Indian Wedding yet (confusing i know) Taking her to Lake Como for the week and Hiring some Exotica to drive around in (she loves fast cars) then Proposing to her, so Diamond ring time.

£200 is the small gift?

I married the wrong person!

There is still time Scott, you brute you ;)

Is £200 going to get you a decent bike? I'm not an expert but I thought a hybrid type bike is an expensive proposition nowdays.

I was hoping that i would be able to get a half decentish bike for this price, if not then i guess i need to up the budget, but id rather try to get something close to this.

Think you may have done this bit the wrong way round! :D

If you are newly wed, a bike not be the best thing to get, she might think you are trying to tell her some ;)

Take her away, teach her something new, make it more her time. :)

She weigh's 7 stones dead and is a gym enthusiast, so im sure she will appreciate the gesture :-), plus she has not had a bike since 1998 :-). She is just back from a Spa week with the girls courtesy of SPG and is going away as her main present buddy :-). We dont live with each other yet either which is a little weird lol
