Septic
I've had enough. I have waited over 6 weeks for my phone to be repaired because it suffered from the restart loop problem where the phone would heat up and keep restarting. Its a common problem with the Desire. The customer service at HTC is HORRENDOUS. Apparently my phone was repaired during the first week I sent it, then delivered, then magically getting repaired again the week after.....now they are just plain lying. I'm on the phone with them now. "Oh its at the repair centre" No its not, yesterday you said you didn't have a log for it. "Oh yes sorry, I don't have an update for it on my system". I haven't had a SINGLE phone call from them even though they have given me several undertakings to call me back within 24 hours. The thing is, I went directly to HTC to get my phone repaired as opposed to going through T-Mobile. Now T-Mobile refuse to take it on. So I'm thinking of cancelling my contract and getting an iPhone instead. I've had enough.

Had the same things happen to mine but went through O2, their policy is that if they cant repair it within two weeks they will supply another phone. Going to pick mine up this weekend as its back from repair, so we will see if it still has a heat problem... going to test it in the shop switching on GPS, using google SAT nav, wifi and bluetooth and then walk about for 30 mins and see if it restarts, if it does then i am going to demand a new phone or a complimentry Iphone

However, threatening to cancel my contract will most likely prompt them to take on my case. HTC didn't do ANYTHING over the phone again so I'm calling T-Mobile. What a joke. P.S. Sorry for the profanity in my thread title

Ian W
Didn't know of this problem at all. *touch wood* mine has been okay, but it does seem to switch on randomly sometimes....either straight after I've turned it off or for the first time the other week after a few hours
