adi2009
Just to clarify, can you pull the wire from the sub-throttle in a J-spec car to disable the traction control system or does this only apply for UK/US spec cars.

adi2009
Thanks for that Jake!!! Is there any problem with removing it though??? I am asking this because in my NA-TT swap, the wiring loom only has 4 wires that connect to the connector but the sub-throttle has 6 wires. Ian C
You can pull the traction control ECU to disable the traction control -Ian
adi2009
in my NA-TT swap, the wiring loom only has 4 wires that connect to the connector but the sub-throttle has 6 wires. I havent connected the sub-throttle to the wiring loom due to the above reason and my car does not idle properly. It keeps fluctuating about 300rpm up and down and each cycle takes approx 1 second, so its kinda worrying me. I m not sure whether this is happening because the sub-throttle isnt connected
Markie
Can you connect it and see if it changes?

What's your O2 readings? -Ian
Matt Harwood
Sub throttle is totally removed from my car, and it hasn't caused any adverse effects.
adi2009
Thanks for all your responses I just got around to checking the error codes and i got code # 21, I think this is supposed to indicated some problem with the Main Oxygen sensor signal. So what should i do now??? Error code details (second pic from the left) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35920&highlight=error+codes
