Stewart10
I'm getting some bits done on the car next week, some of the paint is cracking where it's been impacted, it has marks where the window spoiler was removed and other little dinks here and there. The guys at Shellshocked are saying they can get it looking good by next Friday so here's hoping it turns out ok. They are also suggesting blending in the rear bumper... any thoughts on whether that is a good idea? Here is the car as it is today.... Stewart10
I thought blending was the thing to do? What is the potential downside??

DodgyRog
he did and it has already cracked open due to a little bump . there answers your question, gutted for him though! It was nothing really, no one can see it, unless I point it out lol ShellShocked/Jason have already said they will sort it easily, I just need to drop the car to them for a day As I have said blending is not an option I would go with, but as I used overfenders I felt I had no choice due to not liking the rivet on look I am really happy with the blend and the small crack was due to me grounding out the rear spat on the Dragonba11, just one of those things when the rear of the car is so low, fortunately it's not going to cost me anything to get it sorted I don't think I would ever blend a stock body Supra, just think it's a bit overkill, but I guess it's a personal choice thing, not quite sure what they were suggesting to you though as you said they suggested blending the rear bumper, were they not offering to blend the spats and sideskirts We actually did not blend the rear bumper or front bumper, so they can be removed if necessary, so quite surprised they considered it for yours Edited May 22, 2011 by DodgyRog (see edit history)
Stewart10
Bit delayed but here are some pics now the whole car is finished. I have bought some new badges from Toyota which are due to arrive on Friday but this is pretty much all finished now. Wheels have been done really well, no scrapes or marks at all on the rims now, the window edges have been painted, the mirrors are like new now, all dents and scrapes have now gone. Shellshocked did a really good job, although they aren't the best on communicating if i'm honest, I rang them 5 times and emails are a bit delayed too. On the car side though I have no complaints!!
