Robzki
I am getting to the bottom of my low boost issues and I may have found the root of a problem that has been plaguing me for 6mnths or so. This is in several other threads over the last few months so I apologise to the mods for starting a new one here. In theory if I had theoretically removed the wastegate vsv and then cut the pipe between the no1 turbo housing and the actuator and blocked them all up what would happen, theoretically you understand? Robzki
All sorted I had a blocked filter in the line with the boost solenoid. took it out and now hit 1bar+ consistently. The most I could get up to today was 0.78bar I now know what bpu is, I now feel the love again Does anyone know why this would be? I figured that the wastegate would stay closed if there was a blockage between the turbo housing and the wastegate actuator( with the vsv disconnected from the actuator) that it would overboost? unless I have it all wrong in how I think the system works. Robzki
Anyone? It is still confusing me as to why this didn't overboost?
