Gaz6002
Have a search on here - this has been covered many times before. Prices change very regularly, but Camskill, Blackcircles.com etc are usually the most competitive.

Thorin
My local tyre place was £2 dearer per tyre than camskill for Falken FK-452's. That's worth paying so that I don't have to mess about arranging to be in for delivery. Try your local tyre places too

cje001
Well thanks guys, i`ll have a search but im looking for decent performance in the wet as well.... never had a tyre that really performs in the wet. So feel free to post tyre makes! Chris
Gaz6002
I think the best bet for you would be the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. I had some on my single turbo Supra when I sold her and they were absolutely miles better than any others I tried in the wet. Good in the dry too. Thorin
I paid £560 at my local tyre place a couple of weeks ago for 275/35/18 and 255/40/18 Avon ZZ3's, including fitting and balancing etc.

They have said yes in principle, but just need to confirm those prices with them.

cje001
Avon zz3's !! I have never heard a good word said about them. Hmmmm how can they be good for one person and not for another? Grip is Grip!
jackso11
Thats what I thought. I used to have avons on my Fiesta years ago, but they are a budget tyre really and the supra is not a budget tyre car. I would go for Falken Fk452's. They a mid range tyre with almost a bidget price, good in the wet and the dry except for the last few thousand miles where the wet performance seems to go a bit, but thats ages away on new tyres Toyo T1-R are good, but they are not in production anymore so difficult to get. jackso11
saying that, this review looks ok... http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Avon/ZZ3.htm apart from wear. This site seems to put those avons, fk452's and T1-R tyres all on about par. I would get these if I could find any stock anywhere! http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Ultrac-Sessanta.htm Edited May 19, 2011 by jackso11 (see edit history)

(as of a couple of weeks ago) Judging by the tyre thread on here, people rate the Avon ZZ3's more highly than the Falkens. I'm certainly happy with them, seem very similar to the Falkens which I've had the past few times and rate on a par with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. The Avon's are supposed to be quite soft... so only time will tell how long they last me over the Falkens.
