An elderly polish gentleman was killed back end of last week, and shops were closing at lunchtime today with cop vans and cars all round the town. Hope it clears up by the weekend! Yes the hotel might be a bit more risky, but again I cannot see the riot making it up the hill out of Wellingborough to pay the McDonalds drive through and the Whacky Warehouse pub a visit. Apathy goes a long way on these things, they wont even bother travellling up to the Ibis and to be honest the football season has started so they will find something better to do. Shane Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 My son who works at Welly Halfords just came in and they stayed open all day, they were told to close at any substantiated reports of disturbance in the town, but to his dismay there was none. Made me smile though as the benchmark was whether Matalan in the town decided to close early and they were calling them on the hour to find out the latest in the vain hope they could close shop and go home. Ah ok there is a very slim chance i may not be going in the supra depending on wether i get it back tomorrow. Will i still be able to get through the gates if i show proof of payment/forum name etc?
